ABS DIAGNOSTIC PC SOFTWARE

The Honeywell Bendix� ABS diagnostic software provides technicians with the ability to easily diagnose and service Bendix tractor and trailer ABS with a PC and NEXIQ vehicle interface. A NEXIQ heavy duty PC-to-vehicle interface device (sold separately) is required for vehicle communication. This software supports vehicles that feature Bendix ABS controllers EC-15, EC-16, EC-17, EC-30 and EC-30T. SYSTEMS COVERED

NEW! POWER LINE CARRIER (PLC) TEST APPLICATION FOR TRAILER ABS*

• Compatible with Windows� 95, 98, 2000, NT, XP and ME
• Effective March 2001, a Federal Government mandate required that heavy-duty trucks have an in-cab trailer ABS warning lamp. Using a new SAE standard called PLC communication, the change requires trailer ABS ECU�s to communicate with the tractor ECU via the J560 power line to activate the warning lamp. NEXIQ�s PLC Converter (sold separately) is also required for PLC communication. The PLC test application is easy to use and provides the ability to:

   

• Supports all tractor/trailer ABS brake controllers equipped with
  the Power Line Communications network
• Test tractor and trailer coupled or trailer independently for
  MID messages
• Toggle in-cab trailer ABS warning lamp ON/OFF to confirm
  operation
• Verify trailer ABS ECU for MID 10 and MID 11 messages
