repairing or replacing water pump, timing chain, or the fan clutch.

The 22mm fan clutch wrench is used to remove and replace the
thermostatic fan assembly on: Ford 4.9L E and F Series truck engines
(1984-1993); Ford 4.6L modular engines; Ford 2.8L engines (1984-1987);
Ford 2.9-3.0L engines (1988-current); Ford 4.0L engines (1990-current) .
The 36mm fan clutch wrench is used to remove and replace the
thermostatic fan assembly on Ford 4.9L (1993 to current)
The 40mm fan clutch wrench is used to remove and replace the
thermostatic fan assembly on Ford 4.9L (1993 to current)
The 47mm fan clutch wrench is used to remove and replace the
thermostatic fan assembly on Ford Diesels
