The M52050 Counterbore Boring Tool is a heavy-duty block deck repair tool engineered for top-deck sleeving applications. It is designed to machine out damaged, cracked, or over-cut counterbores in the upper deck of engine blocks so that repair sleeve inserts (liners) can be installed. Once the old counterbore ledge is removed, a repair bushing is inserted, and the new ledge is finished with a subsequent cutter.
