The M50147 Cummins ISX Chip Catcher Kit is a specialized service tool kit crafted for heavy-duty engine rebuilds of the Cummins ISX series. It includes two precision-machined aluminum disc covers sized 150 mm and 152 mm, along with extra O-rings, and five red plug caps to seal adjacent cylinders while liners remain installed.
Designed to capture and contain machining chips, debris and metal shavings generated during counterboring, this kit helps protect the engine block, journal areas and oil passages from contaminates. The built-in plug caps maintain the block closed-system integrity during service, eliminating contamination and foreighn matter (chips) intrusion risks. The M50147 is tailored for ISX engine platforms (note: not compatible with ISX 12).
