The Apex TP-1040 Solenoid Valve is a precision 12 VDC replacement unit specifically designed for the TR‑1001 high-idle engine governor, originally for Cummins PT-pump installations. This solenoid helps address issues like governors that fail to activate or remain stuck “on,” and it corrects top-leakage fuel from the governor assembly.
