Governor leaking fuel from the top on the unit. If your brown coil turns black and is working you do not need to replace the unit. Caution needs to be taken when replacing the solenoid. Please follow the directions enclosed with the unit.. The 2 biggest problems when installing the solenoid is the steel plate on the diaphragm needs to be located on top facing away from the governor. The 2nd is the spring goes in the plunger with the tight windings showing. This goes in the shaft with the rubber plunger down. It should bounce under finger pressure when installed correctly. The rubber must make contact with the steel plate on the diaphragm for this to work correctly.
